Climbing holds FAQ
What is the difference between raw and shielded wood?
Raw wood is unpolished. Shielded wood is polished for a smoother finish.
Will granite holds hurt my skin?
Granite has more friction than plastic or wood, which is the point: it toughens your skin and builds pain tolerance before you climb outdoors.
Raw Granite or Diamond Granite?
Raw Granite holds keep the stone's natural shape, so no two are alike. Diamond Granite holds have a uniform geometric cut but an unaltered natural edge, so they feel consistent from hold to hold.
Can I use them on a home wall?
Yes. They're made for home walls and training boards as well as climbing gyms.
