Tension ClimbingFlash Board

The remarkable Flash Board is designed and made in the U.S.A. by our partner Tension Climbing.

The Flash Board was born out of necessity. When traveling, our training sessions either had to be canceled or were undermined by a lack of good warm-ups. We knew we needed a solution. The Flash Board’s compact design makes it light and easy to pack, adjustable and extremely resistant to rotation. Hang it from a pull-up bar, a sturdy tree, a bolt, or pull against the resistance of your own foot! This is one tool you don’t want to be without. Just don’t pack it in your carry-on luggage… the TSA doesn’t love the Flash Board as much as we do.

We have recently adjusted the edge profiles and added new 8mm and 10mm edges to make the Flash Board even more comfortable and versatile as a warm-up and portable training tool.

WINKEL-TYPEN

Unsere Griffe gibt es in drei verschiedenen Winkeln: schräg, senkrecht und eingeschnitten. Schräge Griffe sind am anspruchsvollsten zu klettern, da der 30°-Winkel eine gute Fingerkraft und Technik erfordert. Vertikale Griffe bieten eine flache Oberfläche und sind relativ leicht zu greifen, was sie sehr vielseitig an der Kletterwand einsetzbar macht. Eingeschnittene Griffe haben einen Winkel von 15° zur Wand hin, bieten einen stabileren Griff und eignen sich daher perfekt für das Training an Überhängen.

GRAY GRANITE / ROSE SANDSTONE

You can choose between two different stone types for your new holds / rails / hangboards. They either come in gray Finnish Granite or in the rose-colored Italian Sandstone. The granite has a naturally rough surface, which is easy to grip and will prepare your hands for outdoor bouldering in Southern Switzerland or Yosemite National Parc. The sandstone is a bit more smooth and great for training on less grippy surfaces like in Fontainebleau and the Red Rock Canyon.

RAW WOOD / SHIELDED WOOD

We offer all of our stone woodies in two different surface finishes. We can leave the wood raw, so it stays lighter in color and results in a very natural looking aesthetic and you can profit from the friction of the wood when climbing. Shielding the wood makes the wood richer in color and makes the surface water repellent and removes the friction of the wood. If you plan on washing your holds regularly, we recommend getting shielded climbing holds.

Unsere Gleiter sind als Zusatz für unsere Hängebretter gedacht und ermöglichen es Ihnen, die Größe der Leiste für Ihre Trainingseinheiten anzupassen, indem Sie die Abmessungen reduzieren.

Jeder Slider hat eine Stärke von 6 mm (0,25") und ist auf der Rückseite mit einem Magneten ausgestattet, mit dem Sie ihn leicht am Hangboard befestigen können. Darüber hinaus haben Sie die Möglichkeit, zwei Slider übereinander zu stapeln und so die Gesamtdicke auf 12 mm (0,5") zu erhöhen.

ENGRAVING OPTION

If you want to add a little extra personalization to your brush, we've got you covered! Add up to 25 characters and we will put our laser engraver to work. This is also a great opportunity to add contact details, like phone number, in case your favourite brush gets lost.

COLOR OPTION

To make your climb a bit more colourful, we add a color on our logo on the brushes. You get to choose which one. Can you find your favourite color?
